2012 // Spring Bucket List

Spring has sprung around here, and even though we have a whole week before it’s official, I think it’s time to get scheming now.

Here’s some fun stuff I’m hoping to accomplish between now and the end of May.

Wine Country Picnic at least once
Host Brunch + Make a Fun Cocktail
Plan + Execute something fun for Garrett’s Birthday
Go to the theater
Win March Madness Pool
Invite friends over to make S’mores in the fire pit

Beauty + Style

Get my fake tan on
Wear a dress everyday for a week
Buy a new bathing suit
Buy some freaking colorful pants
Get a pedicure
Dye my hair (eep! haven’t done this in TEN YEARS)

Spend a long weekend in Portland
Day Trip to Tahoe
Day Trip to Sonoma
Day Trip to SF

Read 10 Books
Plant Garden
Buy a Hydrangea
Hang Art in the kitchen
Paint the office (or one GD room!)
Buy fresh flowers for the house more than once

Hit up the Carmichael Farmer’s Market
Make a Home Cured Corned Beef
Make Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes (and find someone to eat them)
Make 5 New Salads
Make Eggs Benedict for Easter
Hit up a You-Pick Berry Farm
Make Jam
Drink a Key Lime Martini at Centro

Explore Trail Running
Run outside more
Conquer Toes to Bar
Get 1 Unassisted Pull Up
Run a 5K
Go Kayaking

What are you guys up to this spring?

Did I leave out anything MAJOR that must be done?

That’s an awesome Spring Bucket List! I would volunteer to eat the cupcakes for you, but my Spring Bucket List is all about losing weight – eating better and getting in shape.

Something I LOVE about your blog – you always put in such great pictures! Do you take/create them all?

Aw thanks! I do take them all unless or try to credit them when I don’t.

This is just a tree hanging out in my backyard that I took a picture of on my lunch break yesterday. I just felt like spring had officially sprung when I noticed it!

Can you bring your Irish Car Bomb cupcakes to Portland? Pretty Please? I’m sure the Six Degrees Crew can totally help you eat them AND you’ll be knocking out 2 goals in one fell swoop!

I am interested in kayaking (it’s my FAVE), trail running, a berry picking adventure, s’mores in your fire pit and that key lime business. Let’s make plans!

I haven’t thought about Spring yet. I’m just trying to get through the busiest time for me at work. Come April, I’m all over Spring planning! I would definitely like to add some evening walks with Darcy when the weather gets better and the light stays longer. I can’t wait until I can open our windows without freezing!

I always love and am inspired by your lists! Now, for March Madness do you actually know what you’re doing or do you just guess like I do? Jason’s usually in a pool and then we have a little side bet between just us and winner picks dinner and a movie :)

P.S. I love hydrangeas (we had them in my wedding bouquet and in our table centerpieces – ugh not cheap). Are they difficult to grow?

No idea what I’m doing…but I guess pretty well. I would like to go all the way this year! HAHAHA

As for hydrangeas, I have zero experience with them…but why the heck not just start now and pretend I do? Fake it till you make it :)
