Don’t worry, I’m going to buy The Hunger Games this weekend too. Garrett and I have decided that is going to be the next book we read together so we can see the movie when it comes out. He’s getting the audiobook from the library but the hold list is way too long for the paperback so I’m heading to Costco to FINALLY pick it up.

It’s a perfect day for reading around here. It’s crisp and cool outside but I’ve got a huge cup of hot chocolate and I’m heading out to sit in the sun and get a little Vitamin D. A good friend is coming over for dinner, my house smells like brisket, I get to pick out a new book — it’s turning into a pretty nice Saturday.

I’m so excited to see this post because I love your book reviews and you’ve got quite a few I’ve been wanting to read! The only one I’ve read is Cutting For Stone. The first few chapters were a little slow and I wasn’t quite sure how it would come together, but once Marion begins narrating it pulled me in. Enjoy all of them and looking forward to what you think about all of the them!

    P.S. Hunger Games is AMAZING

I can’t wait to hear what you think about Montessori from the Start. I’ve read it (or most of it), and love a lot of the ideas. (We don’t come anywhere CLOSE to doing everything they recommend, though. It would be a ton of work!)

I finally read the Hunger Games a month ago. I flew through them pretty fast – I think it’d be hard to go slow enough to keep pace with the audio version! Are you going to stop between books and wait? Or does Garrett get through the audiobooks pretty quick?

Bwahahahahahahaha this made me burst out laughing.

I have a HUGE stock of books that just came in from holds — just in time for Thanksgiving and travel!! Am so excited. Except, of course, I’m in the middle of this super crappy book for book club that is totally book blocking me from the books I WANT to be reading. Grah.
