30 Days of Denim – Day Seventeen

And just like that, it’s been feeling like fall around here. A little bit overcast. A few nights of crispy cool air. Mornings that take just a little longer than usual to heat up. It’s like I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.

(Let’s hope that light isn’t a train coming right for us!)

That said, I guess I need to get my white jeans wearing out of my system, eh?

Here’s what I wore:

Shirt: Rhapsody (Total TJ Maxx purchase.)
White Jeans: Gap
Red Wedges: Target
Earrings: That’s a good question. I’m going to go with Claire’s.

Speaking of earrings, when I look at the photo I feel like I was a little lazy with the accessorizing but sometimes when I wear white pants I feel like, HELLO I’M WEARING WHITE PANTS! Do you feel this way? And then it makes me feel a little less likely to add the bling you know?

In hindsight, the pants aren’t as loud as I thought they were, so maybe next time I will just bathe myself in diamonds. Or maybe just put on a bracelet.

What did you wear today?

I have no idea why, but I’m terrified of white jeans, maybe because my cellulite seems to be highlighted by them?

I think a big necklace and a chunky bracelet would look awesome with this outfit.

Holly- This is one of my favorite outfits so far. I dig the white jeans. I have tried on so many white pants and just thought coffee, lunch, it”s all over. I’m proud of friends who can wear white without fear. You’ve inspired a white purchase. :)

Hey Holly, it’s your old pal Michelle (Traughber). Betcha didn’t know I’ve been following your blog pretty steadily. It’s a welcome dose of positivity and I am proud of you! Anyhow, this outfit is SO flattering. It looks fantastic on you–big win! Keep on with your bad self!

Thanks Michelle! You are so sweet. I’m always glad to hear from old friends. I have to tell ya, I always think of you now that I live minutes from Granite Bay. When we were kids it seemed like you were moving TO THE MOON. Now it’s my backyard…haha!

I’m terrible at accessorizing. I almost never wear jewelry. These days I say it’s because the kids would break it (true), but I didn’t wear any before I had kids, either.
